Street Carnival



The International Mohair Summit will culminate in an exciting and enjoyable Street Carnival that includes a vibrant and memorable Mohair Concert, all of which is open to the public at no charge.  The Concert will feature dozens of talented local individual acts who will elave you dancing through the streets of the historical Jansenville town, with Robbie Wessels and Khaya headlining the concert.


The Street Carnival will take place in the Jansenville Main Street, with vendors offering wonderful mouth-watering carnival cuisine with a local twist.  Diverse and entertaining buskers will woo walkers by with their uniquely South African tunes, and various other activities to keep everyone entertained.  Visitors are encouraged to visit the Mohair Summit Exhibition located next to the Tow Hall and the Sid Fourie Museum which is rich with the history of Mohair and Jansenville.
